Cub Life Crèche: Celebrating Columbia’s Youngest Guests

Did you know that September 9th marks annual Teddy Bear Day?

“What an odd thing to celebrate!” some of you may think.

Conversely, we couldn’t agree more that the teddy bear is wholly worthy of celebration, and here’s why…

The teddy bear endures as an iconic symbol of childhood: a source of comfort, of encouraging imaginative play, and of teaching the value of caring, with many a child adopting the role of parent to their ‘cub’.

Inspired by the power inherent in this little soft toy to engender independent, creative individuals, Columbia Beach Resort named its dedicated crèche for infants aged 4 months to 3 years old in honour of it.

And so was born Cub Life Crèche: a safe haven for Columbia Beach Resort’s youngest guests, its ‘cubs’ to play, explore, and grow!

A service brought to guests in collaboration with Worldwide Kids Co. Ltd. (our internationally branded and renowned partners highly experienced in delivering childcare services in the hospitality industry), Columbia Beach Resort’s Cub Life Crèche promises happy mornings and afternoons jam-packed with stimulating activities, spanning biscuit decorating and animal shadow tracing, to dizzy dancing, treasure hunts, music making, and – of course – teddy bear picnics!

In fact, each Cub Life Crèche infant is given a little soft toy teddy bear as a token of their time spent here with us at Columbia Beach Resort.

Parents need only fill out a simple form to reserve their cub’s space at the crèche, and all costs can be added to guests’ suite bills to be paid upon departure, making for a no-fuss service.
