Bicycle Day: Head to the Pissouri Hills!

Embrace the yearly celebration of Bicycle Day this April 19th, and make your way down to Columbia Beach Resort’s in-house cycling centre, BikeCyprus, run by two-time former Swiss cycling champion, Thomas Wegmüller.

Engaging and enlivening, cycling is a great way to connect with your surroundings, and your friends and family, as you collectively set off on a two-wheeled adventure.

Amidst the rolling hills of Pissouri, no less, with the glistening Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop, and no shortage of beautiful vistas to behold, committing a day to joining one of the many road or mountain bike tours on offer will not only energise your body but inspire your mind, and introduce you to another off-the-beaten-track side of the island you probably won’t otherwise get to explore.

Operational from February to June, and September to December, Thomas Wegmüller and his accomplished team of professionals can safely guide you on a host of programmes, from a 20 to 40km-long tour of the local turtle beach (ideal for beginners and families), to a sportive, sunset tour along Pissouri’s cliffs and canyons.
