Allergen Policy

At Columbia Beach Resort, the wellbeing and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance. We are committed to providing clear and accurate information regarding food allergens across all of our restaurants, bars and food outlets.

In accordance with EU Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 on Food Information for Consumers, allergen information is available for both pre-packed and non-prepacked tood items served throughout the resort.

Our Commitment

We ensure that information regarding the 14 major allergens recognised by EU legislation — including gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, shellfish and others — is available for all dishes prepared and served within the resort.

To support this commitment:

• All menus are carefully reviewed to identify ingredients and potential allergens.
• Allergen information is available on menus or can be provided by our trained team members.
• Our culinary and service teams receive regular training on allergen awareness and safe food handling.
• Clear signage is displayed to inform guests that allergen information is available upon request.

Food Preparation and Safety

Our kitchens follow strict HACCP-based food safety procedures to minimise the risk of cross-contamination during food preparation.

Additional precautions are taken when preparing dishes for guests with specific dietary requirements.

While every effort is made to ensure safe preparation, food is prepared in shared kitchen environments and therefore we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
