Love Cats

Witnessing the ever increasing number of cats on the island – with no place to formally call ‘home’ – Columbia Hotels & Resorts felt inspired: what, we asked ourselves, is within our power to aid the cats’ healthy living, whilst also protecting the environment? And so it is that the Columbia Cat Care Project was born.

How does it work?
The project’s main aim is to care for our feline friends by neutering and vaccinating them, ensuring, thereafter, that they are well-fed and groomed.

How can you support CCCP?
1. Kindly do not feed the cats: help maintain the cats’ daily routine by refraining from feeding them should they make an appearance at one of our restaurants;
2. Become a ‘Godparent’: please ask Reception for further details;
3. Take part in our ‘Name a Cat’ programme;
4. Or, even, officially adopt one of the cats under the care of the project, taking more than mere memories of Columbia home with you (please consult with Reception for further details).
