Pissouri Bay : Blue Flag Beach

Cyprus boasts 76 Blue Flag awarded beaches and Pissouri Bay has been certified for more than 28 years. The iconic Blue Flag is one of the world’s most recognised awards for beaches, marinas, and sustainable tourism boats. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained. It is a European certificate issued by the not-for-profit and non-governmental Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), verifying that a beach meets certain standards.
